TPSL President Brendan Keyes said today it's fantastic news for our league to have the Dutch Lions involved. I wanted them in for our inaugaral season and to get confirmation on them today is great news for our league. We look forward to watching the Lions play this fall against some very good teams in TPSL.
The Houston Dutch Lions FC are happy to announce they will be joining
the newest league in the state of Texas, the Texas Premier Soccer
League. The TPSL starts play this fall and at the time of this article
has two teams from Houston, one from College Station and your Houston Dutch Lions FC.
Two of the teams that have already signed on to compete in this new
league are from the NPSL, Houston Hurricanes and Regals SCA (both
Houston teams) and the other, BearKatz FC from College Station,
currently competes in the ANSL. Over the coming weeks, additional clubs
from around Texas are also expected to join this new and exciting
league. Dutch Lions Technical Director Marco Pruis said the TPSL
“will provide an excellent compliment to our USL PDL, Super 20, and HFA
programs and will continue the year round development of our program.
The Houston Dutch Lions FC will play their home games mostly on the
weekends and look forward to hosting matches at their own facility for
the first time! The new facility is under construction and will rise
just north of The Woodlands at the intersections of Interstate 45 south
and FM 1488. The grand opening is currently scheduled for September

about the squad’s home and away schedule, the additional of new team to
the league and of course try outs to become a member of this team.
